When Squires Planning was established in 2019 by Andrew (our Director) he had the objective of creating a collaborative team of planners who have the potential to take on any challenge a client may throw at us. Since then, the company has been steadily growing to fulfil that aspiration. In 2020 the company moved to a lager premises so that we have space to expand.

We are currently looking to fill the following position(s):


Senior Planner / Associate Planner / Associate Director (£40,000 - £55,000+ DOE)

We have a significant and growing number of clients who trust the advice we give. We want to find people to join us who can help us maintain our excellent level of service and uphold our company values of Integrity, Duty to our clients, Collaboration, Value, & Respect (see About Us).  We are currently looking for a new senior member of staff to join the team. She/he would report work closely with the company Director and the rest of the team. He/she would also be given the resources, responsibility, and flexibility to do their work to the best of their ability.

We want to develop a casual yet professional workplace where people want to support other members of the team, whilst also being able to develop their own projects and clientele. We are looking for someone who is :

  • Polite, courteous, and able to strike up conversation.
  • Well presented (even on Teams / Zoom!).
  • Independent thinkers, who use their initiative to overcome issues.
  • Always looking to broaden their knowledge and experience in the planning sector.

On a more practical level, senior members of our team must:

  • Have relevant town planning education/training, ideally to at least degree level.
  • Be MRTPI with 3+ years experience
  • Be able to construct well written and presented documents.
  • Have a full driving license and their own car.

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge and 'real world' experience. Remuneration offered will be linked to the value you will bring/add to the company.
